Florida Vacations
What a nice Florida summer vacation we just finished. The west coast of the state is just too much fun, with so many options of things to do. Our itinerary was just jam packed with water parks, attractions, beaches, and theme parks. Disney and Orlando were a big hit as well. Disney's Blizzard Beach was just amazing and rated very high on our Florida things to do list.

Central Florida East vs. West
C: Just wanted to thank you again for helping our Florida vacation itinerary and planning. Originally we were having a really hard time with the decision on hitting either the east or west coast. We had heard really good things about Tampa, Clearwater, St. Pete Beach, and Sarasota. Those were our west coast cities to see. However, the Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach, and Cocoa Beach offer a very nice vacation itinerary of options as well. Our family was at a real tough decision, and that is why you got our original email.
We finally figured it out. Yeah! Why not squeeze it all in. So in our two week vacation we are going to hit both coasts, and the Orlando area as well. The perfect vacation getaway, both sides of the state and the Orlando attractions and theme parks. This is going to be our best vacation ever. We head out next month and just cannot wait.
Thanks again for the itinerary planning suggestions.

Florida Travel Itinerary
Your Florida Vacation Guide has been very helpful in putting together our vacation itinerary. It is neat to see the photos of Florida's Best Attractions, Dining Suggestions, Shopping, and Golf. Our trip to Boca Grande was tremendous, what a neat place to visit.

Pinellas County Fun
Spending many years of vacation time around the state, we decided to make the move and buy some Florida real estate. It was a tough decision, but the place to buy a home was in Pinellas County. This area is loaded with florida fun things, beaches, parks, attractions, and gulfside resorts. The waterfront real estate was reasonable, and that is the way we went.

Florida's Fabulous Seafood
One of the many reasons we moved to Florida is to take advantage of the wonderful seafood. The area is loaded with so many waterfront restaurants featuring mahi, grouper, conch, snapper, and the Florida lobster. My favorite things to do, waterfront dining.

Disney Fun
Disney Annual Pass
Q: Our family wanted to say thanks, and to let you know that we now agree, the Disney Annual Pass is the best thing going. Our tours and day trips of Walt Disney World are memorable. For anyone that lives within a reasonable distance to Orlando, it is a deal. We got the Florida Resident Premium Annual Pass. It has really opened up so much fun, and now we always have great suggested itineraries to plan, each weekend.
Thanks again! Mary Joe Bryant (Cocoa Beach, FL)
A: We completely agree Mary Joe. For the readers that don't know, you get a full year of free parking and entrance to: Epcot World Showcase & Future World, Magic Kingdom Park, Wide World of Sports, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Then toss in the water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, for big water thrills and fun. Plus Downtown Disney Pleasure Island and Disney Quest Indoor Interactive Theme Park. There is even a lot more to it, a great deal indeed for us that our lucky to be a Florida Resident. Please shoot us over some details now and then on your year of Disney Dreams.
Orlando Florida Fun
We have changed our minds, as we first thought the best outing for a family day of fun was in Orlando at International Drive. No, while still in Orlando, we have changed to Downtown Disney Marketplace. They just really have it all going on there, perfect shopping, dining, and family entertainment. Our children just love the whole experience. That Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is just the best Orlando things to do, a true water park experience.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Disney
C: Just had to send this in. We were are at Disney Quest last weekend and all of the Tampa Bay Bucs were in Disney Quest, with family and children playing all the games. A bunch of the players were designing their own roller coaster on CyberSpace Mountain. It was really neat seeing all the Bucs players at Disney.
Paul Tigger, Plant City
A: Yes, the Bucs and Disney have a big partnerships going on now, including training camp at Disney's Wide World of Sports. This is great for both Orlando and the Central Florida area in general.

What's New
New Hotel Projects
Q: Did you guys hear about the new hotel project planned along the waterfront over at Tarpon Springs? Apparently this is a big deal. It is going to be a huge project, and with well over a half a billion dollar price tag. This will be a combo marina, hotel, and restaurant complex. The resort would hold big yachts, plus dry and wet boat slips.
Maggie Jones, (Tarpon Springs)
A: Wow, that is break news to us. This is just another example of what is going on in both the commercial and residential real estate market, meaning big growth. The projects are just getting bigger all the time. Let me do a little research on the hotel project.
I just did a little reading on the hotel project. Wow, seven hundred million dollars! This reminds me of what got built down in the City of Cape Coral. It is called Cape Harbour. This hotel and marina complex is just awesome. It was perfect for a boating community like Lee County has, and Tarpon could benefit the same. It really improved the area for sure. Personally, if I live in an area that big money was coming in to improve things, add restaurants, and beautify a big field, I would be all for it. Thanks for bring this to our attention.
