About the Crowds
This is a really nice water park, fun, and very entertaining. Adventure Island can be very busy on summer weekends, and you might enjoy it more if you can coming during the week, or on days when kids are in school. The park makes a great spot for taking your sweetheart out for a date.

| On site parking is plenty, with large shade trees intermixed. Do park under a tree if you can, when you head home you will be glad you did.

| This is north Tampa, and Busch Blvd. gets busy. Plus, you may have big crowds inside, so there may be a bit of a line on the popular rides. Come early, and when school is in session to have less waiting.

Activities 
Adventure Island has great rides, and lots of them. This is a water park, and you will stay wet all day long. The pools are very nice and offer options like rafting, jumping in from high up, and other ways to fling yourself into the water as fast as possible. Our family loved it!

Don't forget to call ahead as the park has a wide variety of hours of operation depending on what time of year it is. Another tip is to checking for pricing options that include both Busch Gardens and Seaworld Adventure Park, the discounts are the way to go.

Finding Discount Tickets
It took us a while, but we searched the web, local newspapers, and those free papers that you see around the malls. We found 30 percent off and jumped all over it. It was in one of those free magazines scattered around USF. I believed Adventure Island Water Park and Busch Gardens Theme Park have target marketing highly focused on the USF students, since the college is so close to both Tampa theme parks.
