Anclote Park Questions or Comments

West Pasco Boating

This picnic and boating park is really something special. The Anclote Park water and boat views are one of a kind. Our children loved swimming at the beach, plus they have soccer, softball, and a nice kid playground. But the big star here is the boat. This is west pasco county best boat ramp, with quick gulf access for fishing. This is the top rated park in west pasco county.

Tarpon Springs

From Anclote Park you can boat directly up the anclote river to the tourist and attraction area of the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks. This area is famous for many reasons including the Tarpon Springs Boat Rides which take your right up the anclote river, and right past the park. So if you are looking for things to do in pasco county, both Tarpon Springs and the Anclote Boating Park have plenty of family fun.

Perfect Summer Day trip

This is a really nice beach park, the perfect summer day trip. Even if you don't have a boat you can rent pontoon boats, cuddy cabins, or center console boats right next door at The Landing at Tarpon Springs Marina. Take a half or full day trip, and get out to see the dolphins jumping, collect sand dollars, fish from your boat, or just take a cruise up and around Tarpon Springs. We rented the pontoon boat, and all eight of us that day just had the perfect summer day trip.

Anclote Key Anglers Club

We welcome everyone interested in the fishing options and making fishing friends around Northern Pinellas and Southern Pasco County. The Anclote Key Anglers Club meet the second Tuesday of every month at Snookers Restaurant in Tarpon Springs at 7:00 pm and the contact number is 727-510-7717.
