Animal Kingdom Park
Plan for a wonderful and adventurous outing touring the fabulous lands around Animal Kingdom Park. We just loved the trill rides including Dinosaur, Kali River Rapids, Primeval Whirl, and Expedition Everest. The Festival of the Lion King at Camp Minnie-Mickey is a terrific musical filled with dance, singing, and acrobatics. Disney mixes in lots of spontaneous themed entertainment acts, which seem to magically pop out and then entertain the crowds. Nice animals attractions feature exotic creatures from around the globe. A grand theme park and big fun for all!

Animal Kingdom Park Questions or Comments
Disney Fastpass Closes
Q: During our week vacation in Orlando, we went to Disney's Hollywood Studios, Epcot Orlando, Animal Kingdom Park, and the Magic Kingdom. We had learned about fastpass over the internet and tried to use the fastpass system as much as possible. All seemed well until one Saturday afternoon when we noticed covers placed on top of the fastpass as Kali River Rapids. We thought they must be broken or something. We did not want to wait the 40 minutes list outside of the attraction, so we cruised over to take on the legend of the forbidden mountain, Expedition Everest. Dang, the same thing at this ride as well. So we asked an employee. The staff member said they only give out so many each day, and then fastpass closes. We asked how many do they pass out, and she said that it varies by ride and time of the year. I asked if these fastpass statistics are on the website somewhere, and they said no.
We were not mad, just kind of frustrated by the mystery of the fast pass closing. Just wanted to pass that along.
Thanks, Angela Chester, (Dunedin Florida)
A: Very nice of you Angela to pass on your Disney experiences with FastPass. I have found this system is great, but they do tweak it and make adjustments to it. The do close them up in the afternoons often on busy days. That is a great question for our forum.
Finding Nemo
Our family really enjoyed the Finding Nemo, the musical. Don't miss it when you visit Animal Kingdom. You will see Dory, Marlin, Crush, and the rest hit the stage and come to life. The songs are the original songs by Disney-Pixar's Finding Nemo. Your children will really get a good laugh at this show. We stayed at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort during our mini Orlando area vacation, it was just the best.

Animal Kingdom and Epcot Weekend
What could be better than a weekend at disney visiting these two Orlando fun spots. It was our first visit to Epcot, wow is that a nice attraction. Your itinerary will be filled with amusement for that day, and then hit Animal Kingdom Park. What is better than the double combo at Disney! After the fun, hit the scary ride of Expedition Everest, which is not for all children!

Entrance to Africa
The distinct view of africa is the park, and it starts with neat areas like Harambe Village and the Mombasa Marketplace. It is a true view of this special place, and it is best to slow down and see it all. If you get the Disney Annual Passholder Ticket you have the ability to enjoy more. We enjoyed the Tusker House Restaurant, with street performers doing their fun act next to the African dining. Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade runs right through this location, and is just the perfect place to watch the parade.

Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course Phone
The Lodge and the theme park were just wonderful, lots of animals, great rides, and big time fun. Plus, you are close to Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course, a nice outing. Putt putt is always a super Orlando thing to do. Oh, one other part to explain. Need the address or phone number to Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course? We wanted to call ahead to see how busy and get the address to put into Google Maps. However, they have not published any.
