We stayed at an Island Getaway at Palm Tree Villas on the Island. Our itinerary included sailing and boating. In the evenings we hit the Sandbar Restaurant. The bayfront park is special. Anna Maria Island is a great florida beach vacation spot.

Florida Beach Vacations
This is the spot on Florida's west coast to take a cost effective and discount priced beach vacation. During our summer vacation, the Annual Seafood Festival and the Island Festival of Fine Arts were showing. We did a lot of boating, and the intercoastal and Gulf have a lot of boater friendly restaurants to enjoy.

Holmes Beach
Don't miss a day at Holmes Beach, and start early and have pancakes on the beach for breakfast. A unique tradition are the all you can eat pancake breakfasts, served right there along Holmes Beach. So if you are looking for something truly unique and special to do for your sweetheart, a romantic beachside breakfast is a nice thing to do.
