Boca Grande Questions or Comments
Golf Carts
Q: Hi there, we are doing a little bit of homework before we head down to Florida, yeah! Anna, my daughter is so pump up over going to the beach. She has never been. She is eight, and we are very happy that our work situation has let us put together a florida vacation. We were sitting around the table laughing, as we read that the mode of transportation in Boca Grande is the "golf cart". You must be kidding, please explain this. I did not think golf carts were legal? If you have a few minutes, can you let us know if this is true or false?
Yeppie, coming to Florida, Anna Caddie (Birmingham Alabama)
A: Plan on freaking out a bit, but the answer is, it is TRUE! Yep, the golf cart rules in Boca Grande. Once you drive past Placida, the world changes for this hot Florida vacation getaway. You will be in a beach area unlike any other. Both bikes and golf carts rule the road! And it is all legal. Happy golf cart cruising in Boca Grande for you and your family. You will love it and Gasparilla Island State Park too.
Innlet on the Waterfront
We had a super florida beach vacation and just thought Boca Grande was the best. We stayed at Innlet on the Waterfront, a nice hotel. It is located at 1251 12th Street East, and of course the island is small, so everything is close by. We rented golf carts to get around during the weekend.

Fishing and Boating
Sure, Boca is the best boating and fishing spot in Florida. Just watch the Florida Fishing Report, they will show and tell you. This upcoming weekend I am going to boat over to Pine Island and Matlacha, can't wait to see the sunsets from out on the Gulf of Mexico. There is a lot going on in the area and it is filled with to resorts, Florida's best vacation spot.

Silver King Tarpon
We came gasparilla island to enjoy the water, beaches, and the great resort lifestyle. We decided to go out on a fishing charter and wow did we get lucky. Early in May sport fishermen from all over come to Boca Grande to pursue the silver king. These are big fun, and the pass gets filled with people trying to land them. What a great day we had, and when we got back to our hotel, it was straight to the pool to relax. It is time to chew on this, the Boca Grande fishing tournament with lines in the water.
