Clearwater Beach's main beach is located along South Gulfview Boulevard. There is parking available in front of the beach, as well as concession stands, and restrooms. The beach is extra wide, giving ample space for the large crowds that regularly visit this beach. At the end of the main beach, Pier 60 juts out into the water and provides a great place to fish.
This is a lively beach. It's a great beach for children, young adults, and people of all ages who enjoy vivacious activity along a magnificent beach. The sand is soft, the beach is clean, and lifeguards are always close by. This is a great beach to sunbathe, listen to music, go for a walk, and swim in the Gulf. Rafts are welcome, and they are a great way to stay cool in the summer. Spend the day enjoying this wonderful beach, and then stay for one of the most incredible sunsets you can imagine. These are the sunsets they make movies of.
Easily the best way to get around is using the Suncoast Beach Trolley. As soon as you arrive at the beach grab a Suncoast Beach Trolley Map. For $3.50 a day, the trolley will take you to great fun spots like: Pass-a-Grille, John's Pass Village, Sand Key Park, and Madeira Beach to name a few. The beach trolley runs every thirty minutes from 5:15am to 9:30pm, with extended hours each and every weekend. For more info on the trolley and exact schedule times for your hotel, check out psta.net or call 727-540-1900.
