A Great City Beach

The area around the Clearwater Beach is so pristine, with such a wonderfully long sandy-white gulf front shoreline. The water is very clean with typically calm surf conditions, and is great to swim-in or raft-on. Our hotel stay was fantastic, with a great room, super pools, and top notch service.

Activities

Activities in and around the area center on the beach and water play (swimming, boating, fishing, snorkeling, etc.). After beach fun the island has a myriad of sightseeing, dinning, bars, attractions, and shopping. Pure Florida fun is here to enjoy.

biking		comment Ratings We love the biking around Clearwater, but you better use the sidewalks for safety. You can head north and bike over to Sand Key and Belleair. ★★★★
boating		comment Ratings The is one of the better places for boating and water craft fun in West Florida. Boating charters are a great deal at Clearwater Beach Marina. ★★★★★
boat ramps		comment Ratings Your best bet is over at the Seminole Street Boat Ramp off Alt-19, a huge multi-lane ramp system. It is not free. The small ramp on the island can't handle the boater's needs. ★★★

fishing		comment Ratings The Clearwater Marina is loaded with fishing charters for you to get out and catch some big fish. This is one of the better fishing areas in Florida. ★★★★★
