Disney's Contemporary Resort
This getaway is a modern marvel, with a cosmopolitan feel and dramatic design. What a thrill to stay where the monorails buzz through the mezzanine. Oh, and it is so close to the Magic Kingdom, just a short monorail ride, and you are there. The hotel is located next to Bay Lake, and you can enjoy all kinds of water sports on the lake. There is also a magnificent pool and beach area, tennis courts, and a huge game room (it seems every kid in America knows about this infamous game room). Be sure to go to the top floor, where the California Grill provides superb cuisine, wonderful views, and a fantastic venue in which to see nightly fireworks displays.
