	You can pack a picnic, park your car, and spend the day splashing in the water, walking along the beach, soaking up the sun, and having lots of fun.
	When you long for the warm sun on a cold winter's day, Daytona Beach is the place to come and play.
	Surfers scout for the perfect wave. The waves are fantastic here, and there are plenty of places to watch them break.

Bike Week

We happened to book our hotel for a weekend trip to Daytona Beach Florida during Bike Week. Wow, was this the best party in Florida. This is a can't miss event, and about the most fun we have had. There is one major event after another, the bandshell had concerts ongoing. Our hotel even had discount prices for Bike Week, right there on the ocean.

An excellent Daytona Beach Attraction is the NASCAR exhibit, called Daytona 500 Experience. Being racing fans, we really liked going onto the International Speedway as part of the tour. A nice highlight to our weekend getaway.
