Site Selection

Q: We love disney so much, this time we are staying a whole week at fort wilderness. Those pictures that you show on fun florida getaways are very nice. They give you an up close feel, like you are right there. We are doing busch gardens and adventure island, in tampa first, and then all the disney theme parks when we camp. First Tampa then Orlando, that should cover central Florida pretty well. Just doing some early planning, and was considering site selection. Not sure that it matters, but figured to send you a message for a short reply. If you have an opinion, please let us know.

A: We have stayed at the Fort Wilderness Campground three times, once in the five hundred, twenty-two hundred, twenty-six hundred loop. If you have bikes or get a electric cart, then it really does not matter. Mostly, being closer to the beach area is the way to go, with out bikes or a cart. Then you have quicker access to the boat. All in all, the whole campground is awesome, and you should have a very nice Disney Vacation.

Eagle Pines Golf

Bring your golf clubs, as the campground is really close to Eagle Pines Golf Course. A very nice course to play, a walt disney world golf course. Don't forget to plan ahead, and set up a tee time early. Course maps are available online, plus discount coupons as well. Disney discount golf is the way to go.
