Hard Rock Hotel

Our trip to the Hard Rock Hotel was a delightful journey filled with nostalgic music, in a sparkling setting. The hotel is beautifully decorated with music albums, rock legend pictures, and all sorts of rock-n-roll memorabilia. You will find displays that showcase Elton John (including his spectacular outfits), Elvis Presley, and even the beloved legend Jimi Hendrix. A hugely popular feature of this resort is your easy access to City Walk, Universal Studios, and Islands of Adventure.

Hard Rock Hotel Orlando Photos

	The hotel is a big one, with nearly 700 rooms. They offer an astounding array of room styles, which feature more rock-n-roll recreations.
	You will find a lively atmosphere, complemented by the music, which plays just about everywhere around the hotel. This includes the pool tunes, provided by the underwater speakers.
	Kids just go crazy over the big slide.
	You will find plenty of activities to enjoy, such as: the health club, arcades, spa, ping pong, and more.
	Here is a view from the ferry boat, as you enter the Hard Rock's grounds from the river.
	We spent plenty of time in the pools during the day and the hot tubs at night.
	The pool is special, with plenty of room to swim, a big slide, and a white-sandy beach.
	The grounds around the resort are just perfect for walking and biking. We took evening strolls over to the Portofino Bay complex, which sits right next door.
	Wouldn't you know that the Hard Rock sports a merchandise store onsite, filled with classic tee shirts, music collectable's, and unique novelties.
	This Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando, is one of eleven current world wide locations.

Access to Universal Fun

Q: Our family is heading over next weekend from Venice, and we where under the impression that you get some special access to the Universal fun. Or do you just ride a boat like you do at Port Orleans French Quarter. We stayed their last month and that is the way you got to places like Epcot and Boardwalk Inn Resort. We like the boats, but heard there was a bit more to it at the Hard Rock Hotel Orlando.

A: You have your own walking path that in only a blink of the eye will have you right at these entertainment destinations. However, you can take the boat to Universal, City Walk, Portofino Bay, and the Royal Pacific Resort. Also, be sure to ask the staff members to thoroughly explain some of the benefits that come by displaying your room card at the Universal theme parks, restaurants, and bars. These features include priority seating and reduced ride queues are too good to pass up. Better check out the details, which do fluctuate from time to time.

Hotel Ping Pong

Got to love a place that has ping pong by the pool! We really like music, and that was a big part of our decision to stay at this hotel. We flip flopped between here, Wilderness Lodge Resort, Saratoga Springs Resort, and the Swan Resort. Our family has stayed there on both of our Orlando trips. Just really enjoyed it, with all the Universal fun and Islands of Adventure Orlando being right next door.

Universal Studios

I would have to say the Island of Adventure was the best of the two theme parks. But, we like big rides and the roller coasters just fit our lifestyle. It was nice staying at a hotel so close to the action. Plus the nightlife just rocks, with the great restaurants and bars so close to our hotel.
