Rod & Reel Pier

We just love the fishing, sightseeing, and the waterfront dining at the Rod and Reel Pier. Certainly this was fun for all and our children. We even met the general manager on our last trip, David Cochran. This is big time fun and a manatee county tradition that our family has enjoyed for decades. The address is 875 North Shore Drive, Anna Maria Island, Florida 34216 or call at 941-778-1885. The pier is a great Manatee County things to do.

Coconuts Beach Resort

We found a cozy little hideaway there along Holmes Beach at Coconuts Beach Resort. They offer fully furnished one and two bedroom apartment style cottages. It is a nice spot with lots of things to do close by. Address: 100 73rd Street.
