The island has about 3 miles of beautiful unspoiled beaches, with white sand and calm surf. While visiting Caladesi Island, you can walk the beach or nature trails, picnic in shaded pavilions, or let your kids play in the children's playground. To access Caladesi Island, you take a ferry boat from Honeymoon Island. The boat departs every half hour, for the short voyage over to Caladesi Island. Concessions
Out on the island, the park's concession stand offers food, beverages, and beach supplies. Umbrellas and beach chairs are available for rent. Showers and bathrooms are also available.
