Dog Beach Paradise
Play with your dog in the water at the Honeymoon Island State Park dog beach. It is located on the southern side of the park, and is a wide-open dog playground. The water is shallow, so dogs can walk in the water, and really cool off on a hot day. Don't forget to bring the Frisbee, so your dog will enjoy some added fun on his beach adventure.

There is room to roam, with outstanding views of the water, and Caladesi Island. Your dog will love it, and you will too. You can spend time in the water with Fido, or you can take a walk along the beach too. Note: It is about 500 yards from the parking lot to the dog beach, so if you bring a lot of beach accessories, you may have to get everyone involved in transporting them to the beach.
Do's and Don'ts
At the park, owners are required to supervise and clean up after their four-legged friends. All dogs must be on a leash when inside Honeymoon Island State Park. Follow the signs in the park for the dog beach, which is located on the southern tip of the park.
