Ft. Desoto Park is a gigantic Pinellas County park, with many leisure activities available for your enjoyment. In addition to beautiful beaches, there's biking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, boating, and picnicking. You won't run out of things to do here, and the ambiance is incredible. Fort Desoto Park

	Wow! What a sight. Fishing from the giant pier at Ft. Desoto Park is a great pastime.
	Boating abounds at this gorgeous island park. There is an excellent boat ramp available, and it is used by many area boaters.
	There's even a dog park here, where dogs can run around and play, and get a bath too.
	There are endless paths to bike at Ft. Desoto Park. You'll get a great workout at this park. The park is named for the fort located on the southern end of Mullet Key. It was built in 1898 during the Spanish-American War, but never saw action.
	For those who have an RV or a tent, this is the place to camp, and really enjoy nature at it's finest.
	People gather on the pier to see the latest catch of the day, and to savor the Gulf breeze.
	This is an All-American park, where picnicking is a pure delight. Hot dogs, apple pie, Chevrolet, and Ft. Desoto Park!
	You can get your exercise in, and enjoy nature at the same time. It is a joy to visit this park.
	Father and son spend time fishing together. This is what it's all about, spending quality time doing a fun activity, in a beautiful park.
	Oh, look at the white sand, the children playing, and the blue skies. It's a wonderful place. Yes, this really is one of America's best beaches.
