Ft. Myers Beach Access Options
On the bowditch beach parking: This beach area is one of the very top spots in the entire State of Florida. Believe me, I grew up here and also lived in Big Pine Key, Bradenton, Miami, and Jacksonville. I know a sweet beach park when I find one. However, the beach parking lot is smaller than required for a Duncan Donuts Shop to get a building permit. Short and quick, use Lovers Key Beach as a backup if you get boxed out of the parking lot.
