This is a cool zone and it makes for a nice getaway for those of us live across the state in Tampa. You take I-4 most of the way and it goes like a breeze. On the first night I would recommend touring the Live Oak Street City Center area. You can see a lot more and take it all in if you go during the day. Pick out a bar for later in the evening after the beach day.

Ask for the Daily Fresh Catch Seafood
I really liked it, it was my first time visiting the area and hitting the beaches here. Fishing seems to be really a major activity and you see people all over the bridges pier's and waterfront actively engaged in the craft. I get my fish grilled and let the restaurants do the work!

Beach Workouts Makes Me Hungry!
The beaches here are so wide and have really hard packed beach sand. You can ride your beach cruiser for miles. They rent them here, so you do not have to bring them.
