Make sure you bring your watersports toys!
This is a very nice park and parking is not really a problem except on a warm sunny day in the winter. That is the peak season for the island and the population really ramps up. In the summer you will find beach parking to be very easy, despite the fact that that's the best time for swimming and watersports.

Top Beach Destination
The most glamorous beach area has got to be Turtle Beach. The location is excellent, just minutes from downtown Sarasota. It is all here, the beach, trendy restaurants, outdoor cafes, and unique shopping boutiques.
