The view of Florida Bay and the local islands is a refreshing change for a Key West Hotel. All of our other trips were in land locked hotels near the Old Town Area near Duval Street. People said it was better down there in the primary entertainment zone, but I prefer to stay on the water (by the Ocean). Island located hotels are so rare, the ten minute bike ride to downtown is well worth it.

Fairfield Inn vs the Marriott Key West Trying pick between the Fairfield and the Marriott Key West. My schedule is flexible with yours. Give me the exact dates...and I can see if a room (2 queen beds at a brand new Fairfield Inn or Marriott) can be secured. Both hotels are in a nice area, as I have stayed there 4 or 5 times (bicycle travel is the best method from both hotels).

Island Vacation in Florida We really liked how relaxing it was to hang out by the pool, play in the water, all with some very special views of the local waterfront. It makes you feel like vacation days are island based.
Renowned for the Contemporary Amenities Being so modern, the design and stylish suites are exceptionally nice. This is the finest resort we have stayed at during our many years visiting Key West.
