Once you arrive at the beach you will be in heaven. The sounds of nature are everywhere, as the waves gently pound the shore. Kids have plenty of room to roam, and there is a public restroom right there next to the parking lot. Across the street is a deli with cold drinks or visit the Lazy Flamingo Restaurant.

We Found the Winning Beach Zone
Thanks for the Photos and Information on Sanibel Beaches. You have us planning another trip. You are correct in that one of the challenges of Captiva Island is beach access. We like Turner Beach at Blindpass, as the water is outstanding. A great beach for long walks, watersports, and sailing.

Scenic Trips are Florida's Treasures
This is our new top pick. We had to reorganize after our latest weekend beach getaway. The Captiva Island City Center gets all the buzz, but the beaches are awesome. We love Turner Beach, which is easy to get to and park. Hit the water during the day or a scenic sunset stroll.
