All About Port Charlotte!
CHARLOTTE COUNTY FLORIDA
Neat & Playful Areas to Explore
I had to let everyone know how much we enjoyed the area. We took a daytrip over and brought our bicycles on the back of our car. Having free parking is a nice change compared to our typical experience. We can really see the growth in local attractions, waterfront restaurants, and fishing spots. It seems the local government has been pushing this stuff whenever tax revenues are on an upswing. Having some boat tours would be a nice plus.

Our Life is about Outdoors, Beer, and Seafood
A trip to the area should include visits to one or more of the scenic waterfront parks overlooking Charlotte Harbor. Popular itineraries would include kayaking, bicycle rides, boat tours, and outdoor dining!

Lots of History Around to Checkout
Over in Punta Gorda they have some neat places to visit. Very interesting is the Blanchard House Museum, a 1925 house that was originally built for a key member of the early Punta Gorda's business community.

Ideas for Afternoon Fitness Locations
One of the neatest places to go in the area is on the waterfront, call Beach Park. It has just about all things fitness, a pier, and boat ramps too.
