Marathon is for Seafood Lovers

It is all about seafood here, fresh from the ocean: Yellowtail, Tuna, Dolphin and other local catch of the day. One of the cool spots that the locals here rave about. We found out all about it during our vacation stay at Key Colony Inn, just down the street. The manager said this was the place to eat and we loved it.

Marathon Florida City Seafood Market
Hey...Don't forget to pick out a couple of shrimp recipes. I stopped in at Fish Tales Marathon City Seafood Market and I have 5 pounds in the freezer. Shrimp are so good with red beans and rice for the slow-cooker and whatever else. I can move a couple of pounds to the frig on Friday afternoon.

The best thing about the vacation down here on the islands is the unbelievably fresh seafood. Whatever you get has been very likely caught not so many hours ago!

Pickup your favorite fish fillet or sit and have a meal here. It is nice, they have fresh salads, seafood, cocktails, and sweet tea. Heading down, on the left just past Vaca Cut.
