For a splendid weekend by the water spend one day along the Riverwalk and the other over at Inlet Park Beach. The downtown area has the riverwalk district, which is the main entertainment zone with loads of bars and restaurants. Parking is free and oh so easy. It is a super scene, one not to miss.

Playful Fort Pierce Beach Downtown Waterfront
A real winner of a downtown entertainment scene and everything is walking distance. A weekend vacation to Fort Pierce was a sweet idea.

When to enjoy the Waterfront
It is so fun on the weekends, plus Monday through Friday after the work day. Be sure to walk over and see the historic Sunrise Theater, a classic for downtown.
