These are a blast, just be sure to pick a day that winds are calm and wave heights are 1-2 feet offshore. We recommend to stop by the boat at the end of the prior day's fishing trip to see exactly what was caught and what guests say about the charter. This sets your expectations up accurately, with no hype. If it is your first time, go with the shorter four or five hour trips. No all day trips for first-timers. Bring wet-ones to help with hand and face clean up as needed during the day. Go on the right day and they rock!

Pick out a Key West Fish Recipe
I was lucky and was about to catch the heaviest dolphin fish. It just about paid for the trip with about five pounds of fillet strips.

A Big Hat Keeps You Cool
Captain's sun care is to apply a broad spectrum sunscreen with a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of at least 30 or higher and use a lot wherever your skin is showing. Reapply every 2 hours when fishing or playing outdoors in Key West. Even waterproof sunscreen can come off when you towel off, sweat, or spend extended periods of time snorkeling in the water.

Water Adventures for All Ages
I was impressed the first time and now we take our guests that come down to visit us. You will not find much better for value for fun, as you get an adventure too. I like the conch tour train, but these trips are way better and you get to take the fish fillets! Ask ahead what and how much you will likely catch.
