What a fun venue for all ages to explore and checkout. We had no idea and sort of stumbled on it when visiting some friends. The beach areas are close by too, if you want to swim. Expect a nice mix of shopping, restaurants, bars, and a relaxing atmosphere. Things just stay so peaceful here along the waterfront.
Gulf Port Makes Me Smile We found the area pleasantly sophisticated, very relaxing, and the perfect spot to have an outdoor dining experience. It is a quaint and charming city, just a short bicycle ride away from the Gulf beaches.

Free Parking in Gulf Port Thank goodness for free community parking. I think Gulf Port must keep it that way. That is one that downtown St. Pete screwed up. They got rid of the free parking there and went to metered. Local restaurant revenue dropped right away.
Local Fun Things to Do Be sure to stop by the Salvador Dali Museum just about five miles away. Embrace the wide array of artistic treasures by the famed painting surrealist. Downtown St. Pete is just too entertaining.
