Boating in the Florida Keys is so special and it does not get any better than starting out in the famous area called Garrison Bight. You start out on the side of the Island of Key West where the nightly sunset celebration occur. You head out and can go in any direction. We love looping around the big island.

Which fish to catch without going ocean deep? For newbies fishing off a rental boat, the Yellowtail and Mangrove Snapper are tasty targets and found year round here in the Florida Keys. You can catch plenty of keepers off the flats, under docks, and around the reef structures. We boat most often out of the Sugarloaf Marina.
Boating Vacation in the Florida Keys Oh my goodness, November must be the best time of the year here in the Florida Keys. In Philly, I believe they got some snow! We are renting a boat today to tour the islands.
