Go with a Nice Headset Model

Using an external mic is the solution to improving youtube audio. It appears the default audio that I am publishing to youtube is AAC, 128kbps, 44.1 kHz, Stereo. Also, I tried my cheapy headset microphone, that I was using my laptop and it sounded fantastic when testing it today. Adjusting the microphone to -21 or -24 had excellent voice sound and low level ambient noise. Moving it up to -15 did provide nice ambient sound. It is a dynamic mic, no power...a real cheapy.

Reducing Wind Noise in Videos
Yeah, the City of Adventura Judge declared the red light cameras as Unconstitutional. Thank goodness. And remember, you can also block the wind to stop wind noise by positioning yourself up wind, blocking the wind with your body or a building.

Headsets make a Big Difference
The headset is the real winner and the settings I have set on the camera (-30db). Record low and use the software to normalize the sound. Much less ambient sound. Works great on a busy street, like the Sanibel Turtle!

Logitech Gaming Headset G330
I also ordered this: Logitech Gaming Headset G330. For $35...It got good reviews for the microphone quality and I can always use just the headphones on the bicycle.
