The Morada Grill was just outstanding. I would put it right there with the Lorelei, but you have a little more elegance at the Morada Bay. Actually, I would recommend both of those, but also the Hungry Tarpon, Islamorada Fish Company, and the famous Green Turtle Inn Restaurant. For an interesting lunch, try the sandwiches from the Bud N Mary's bait store.
Third Thursday Islamorada Festival Come on the Third Thursday, as this is when the local artists show off lots of island style art and more. One of the neat places to shop for rare and interesting gifts. Yes, it is a street party and a great time to book a hotel room on the island. We drive up from Marathon for the party.
Locals Love to Party on the Island They sponsor a monthly party on the beach behind Pierre's and Morada Bay called the Full Moon Party. Do check this action out as it is very fun with its bonfires, live music, stilt walkers, and drink specials.
