We saw this coming north, coming off the 7 mile bridge into Marathon, on the right with the pool. Nice! We just knew that was our place to stop in the Middle Florida Keys for entertainment by the water. Beach bars with swimming pools are by far the best thing going on the island.

Condo Rentals walking distance from the 7-Mile Bridge
Heading north from Big Pine Key toward Marathon, I always wondered what the big building was just to the right of the Sunset Grille. This is there where the seven mile bridge connects on the upper end. Here is the place for all the folks wondering what is there. Hawks Nest is a rental condo complex. Anything on the water in Marathon is ideal.

Marathon Florida Live Music Bars
It is very fun here and we did make it one night right before sunset. The restaurant is pretty deep may be six tables wide, so it is good to get here a little early and get a prime spot. Probably an hour before sunset might do it. The live music was excellent.

Spectacular waterfront views and locally inspired food are all found in one place. So we come here often during our Marathon Vacations. Yes, it is in the heart of the Florida Keys. Come by boat or car for lunch, dinner, drinks or yummy desserts. No, we do not work here!
