Do a little bit of homework and you will get a really good deal on your visit to Cocoa Beach. This area is very competitive for the tourist dollars and the hotels will offer you the moon to get you the stay. In the summer and fall you have the most leverage when you are negotiating a room. We never just book our room directly off the internet, we just use that to find a discounted value hotel. Then, we pick up the phone and work for even better discount pricing.

The Waves Never Stop Here
They sure do have nice and consistent waves. We like the stay at the Marriott Courtyard, which is about four hotels down the beach from Alan Shepard Beach Park. See lots of surfing there.

Favorite Places to Ride the Waves
Certainly the city of Cocoa Beach Florida is one of the closest beaches to those hitting the action in Orlando. Yes it is close, making it a great day trip for all of the theme park visitors. We love it, so fun is its surfing and its proximity to Space Center.
