Our guests have questions all the time about what to do on the first day in Key West. First, put on a big smile because you have entered the best city in Florida. Second, hop online and buy a discount ticket to the trolley. You can save two or three dollars if you buy ahead on the web site. You print out your entry ticket invoice, which is good anytime, not just on the day you purchase it. Or, just stop by the trolley office and purchase it directly from them. The Reefs started the Shipwreck Industry
Next to the trolley depot and boarding area is the Key West Shipwreck Museum. If you have younger kids, do go here. Adults only should probably skip it. They do a nice job with kids on this exhibit and tour. The opportunity to learn about how many made a living off shipwrecks.
