We loved the guided ride and would recommend the conch train tour to all visitors to Key West. I am not sure there is a better way to learn all about the city of Key West and it's unbelievable history. We had no idea that this was once the largest city in the state of Florida and it almost fully burned down once upon a time. Everyone will be thrilled on the trainride.

Staying Cool in the Florida Keys
The conch train is shaded, thank goodness. Staying under cover is a good way to protect yourself from the sun in Key West. Remember the shadow rule: Watch Your Shadow. No Shadow, Seek Shade!

The Best Thing on the Island
Just the best thing to do in all of the Florida Keys. Plus it is what your children will want, this is the place to tour the island. You should try to sit up front where you can see the movements and interactions of the driver.
