Walking the shoreline is such a treat and every few minutes or so something special is waiting for your viewing pleasure. This hungry White Ibis was having a great time munching away at Loggerhead Cay Beach.

SCCF does a wonderful job
Share the sands with baby sea turtles, as that is part of a day on the beach here in Sanibel-Captiva. The beaches are nesting nirvana for turtles, and local SCCF programs allow visitors to see this annual ritual first-hand from March to October. Yes, we love the sea turtles.
