Cape Canaveral Beach Park

The entrance winds you through lush coastal nature to the boardwalks, beach area, and the 1,200 foot fishing pier. The main areas, the beach, pier, and campgrounds are typically busy with activity. It is scenic, plus see lots of casino ships heading in and out of the port.

Activities

There is plenty of fun here with beach play, fishing, surfing, camping, picnics and more. Watch the giant cruise ships go by while walking, sunbathing, swimming and surfing on the pristine beach coastline. Make your own sand castle or ride the surf on a buggy board. Walk out onto the pier for great coastal views.

biking		comment Ratings There is really good biking around Cape Canaveral and down to Cocoa Beach. They have sidewalks on the big streets, and plenty of back roads to cruise around on. You can bike into this park for free. ★★★★
boating		comment Ratings Both the Atlantic Ocean and the Intercoastal waterways are here for you. Deep-sea fishing boats and day sails are also available at Port Canaveral. ★★★★★
boat ramps		comment Ratings None right at Jetty Park. Public boat launching ramps are located at Port's End Park and Freddie Patrick Park.
camping		comment Ratings It is not a Disney, but is a good low cost way to enjoy Jetty Park. Choose from open tent locations just off the intercoastal or full RV hookup areas. ★★★
fishing		comment Ratings Great fishing from the beach, by boat, off the Malcolm E. McLouth fishing pier or half-, full-day and night-fishing excursions. ★★★★★
