Jetty Park

Jetty Park is a hide-away beach park in Port Canaveral Florida, just north of Cocoa Beach. This pristine beach is in an excellent location to watch the launch of the Space Shuttle. Here you will find fishing, sunning, surf, picnic areas, and even a campsite. It is well worth a visit during your trip to the Space Coast.

	This is the entrance to Jetty Park, where you will find sandy beaches, nice surf, an excellent fishing pier, children's playground, and picnic areas.
	People enjoy fishing on the Malcolm E. McLouth Fishing Pier. This beach park is located at the entrance to Port Canaveral, so you will see ships moving in and out of the channel as you fish.
	People enjoy spending the day at Jetty Park. There is plenty of soft sand, so put down your beach blanket and enjoy a sunny Florida day.
	It's a boater's paradise off the Atlantic Ocean. There's plenty of boating activity along these Space Coast shores.
	Sunbathers enjoy the day at Jetty Park. This park is expansive. You'll have plenty of room to relax and play on the beach.
	The Ron Jon Resort is close by. First class accommodations include a water park in a beautiful setting.
	This children's playground is also part of Jetty Park. If the kids tire of the beach, they can retreat to this lovely park to play on the jungle gym.
	Ships sail past Jetty Park, and in to Port Canaveral, on a sunny day in Florida. Seeing the tall ships pass by adds to the appeal of this relaxing beach park.
	Picnickers enjoy spending the day at Jetty Park too. Put some burgers on the grill, and spend the day with family and friends.

Space Coast Area Transit SCAT

Getting around the space coast is easy using the Space Coast Area Transit or SCAT. The bus service provides public transportation all around Brevard County, and it is just a dollar. For schedule information just check it out here.

Camping at Jetty Park

This park is the greatest for fishing, boating, and camping. What a great experience to camp right along the intercoastal with the big cruise ships passing by. The fishing pier goes way out over the Atlantic Ocean. Our vacation was just perfect with the camping pleasure at this beachside fun park. We also like and recommend New Smyrna Beach 27 Avenue, a great spot to hit the beach.

Jetty Park Canaveral Campground Reservations

I was a bit surprised to find out that when I called to make camp site reservations for Saturday night, the first thing you hear on the recorded line is a two night minimum. That just is not fair.

East Florida Fun

What a great East Florida vacation we had visiting the popular destinations including the Kennedy Space Center, Jupiter Island, and Daytona Beach. We really enjoyed Cape Canaveral, the waterfront parks, and the Canaveral National Seashore.
