Whatever the watercraft, Lake Tarpon , with its magnificent Florida nature, has something to offer for everyone. Boaters on will enjoy the large 2,500 acre main body for water skiing and sightseeing. The lake offers abundant wildlife viewing, and many interesting areas to explore from a boat.
Canoeists and kayakers will find the Lake and creeks a perfect place for paddling. Sail boaters can find plenty of room to maneuver on the open water of the lake. Bring your own water craft though. This park does not offer canoe, kayak, or boat rentals. Boaters should also be aware that hazardous boating areas do exist on Lake Tarpon. As with most large lakes, watch for submerged objects, and fallen tree branches around the shores.
