Dogs of Tampa and Clearwater escape urban stresses at John Chesnut Park 's popular Paw Park . Nearly 1.7 acres of the 255-acre Pinellas County Park is dedicated to Fido. The dog park is nicely shaded, is surrounded by a 5-foot fence, and divided into three dog playing areas.

The fenced areas allow unleashed canines the opportunity play and run free. They will love it! And when your dog gets hot and thirsty, there are cooling stations complete with showers and dog-level water fountains to cool off. Please note that owners are required to supervise and clean up after their four-legged friends. All dogs must be on a leash when outside of the Paw Playground area. Follow the signs in the park for the Paw Playground.
