John's Pass Village Questions or Comments
Pinellas Fun Spot
Q: Thanks for the tip on John's Pass Village, we took our family and friends out for a great day around Madeira Beach. That is a really fun place and Gators on the Pass is something to see as well. The boating and fishing around the area was special. It even beats Jetty Park, near Cocoa Beach. We live in Cocoa Beach, and Jetty Park is very similar with all the boats going by and the great fishing. But John's Pass Village has more going on with the bars, shopping, and all that. We really enjoyed ourselves.
Thanks again. Peter Marlin (Cocoa Beach)
A: Yes, both Gators and John's Pass Village really has it going on. Love the huge cruise ships going by when we went fishing and camping at Jetty Park. Both are super Florida venues.
Gators Live Music
We stayed in Madeira Beach hotel this past week, and were we ever impressed with the live music at Gators Cafe & Saloon, right there on the southside of John's Pass. The bands were really good, and even had the crowd dancing it up pretty good. It is also nice that you get to enjoy watching the boats come up to this boater friendly restaurant.

Seafood Restaurants
At the village you get a nice selection of waterfront seafood restaurants, Sculley's, The Hut, Friendly Fisherman are great choices. Whichever restaurant you pick, select Mahi Mahi. This is a top selling seafood, which is a firm white-fleshed fish. It is delicious grilled, cajun, or blackened. Menna's Landing should add to the fun and restaurant selections.
