amusement area comment
Ratings
KSC is great for learning and history. Factual and informative, but just a bit dry on amusement and a slow as you are moved by bus from site to site. It is worth seeing, but keep your expectations of amusement low. ★★★
cleanliness comment
Ratings
All of the park grounds and facilities were nicely maintained and clean. ★★★★★
parking comment
Ratings
On site parking is ample, but not covered or shaded. Charges are incorporated into the ticket prices. ★★★
restrooms comment
Ratings
The restrooms are clean and available throughout the grounds. ★★★★
dining/drinks comment
Ratings
They have a few places places to grab a bite or quench your thirst. But don't come to Kennedy Space Center for dining or drinks. ★★
kid friendly comment
Ratings
The process is slow and there is waiting time which is tough for small children, but older children with a strong interest in space flight, NASA, and rockets will love it. ★★★
dog friendly comment
Ratings
No dogs going into space.
traffic/access comment
Ratings
No traffic issues, but access to the location is out a bit from the major Florida cities. I assume this was for the safety and security of NASA. ★★★

Activities

It is look and listen throughout the Visitor Complex, Rocket Garden, IMAX movies, space history exhibits, a full-sized walk-through Space Shuttle display, bus tours, restaurants, gift shops, the Apollo/Saturn V facility, the Astronaut Hall of Fame, and more.

Kennedy Space Center Questions or Comments

Night Launch

Wow, what a powerful display was being able to see a night launch live here on east coast of florida. You can get the launch schedule here, and it is one of the top things to do in Florida.

Matt Smith, Cape Canaveral Florida

Planning Your Visit

Don't forget to review the Kennedy Space Center Destination Tips to make the most out of your visit. First I would say you should focus on the bus tour, as that can get crowded. Hit that and avoid the lines and wait times. You will love the bus tour if you are a space junkie.

Mark Swan, Cocoa Beach

Learn about the Shuttle

One of the better parts of KSC is the learning and educational experiences you gain on the history of the Space Shuttle. There is so much that goes on being the scenes to make this historic fleet of ships happen. A nice east florida attraction.

Tim Marks, Cape Canaveral Florida
