Plan Your Visit
A typical family should expect to spend 4 hours or more at the space center. Much of the day will be spent on the wonderful bus tour, while the bulk will be around the main attraction, the Visitor Center. Bring some food to save money. You can get more information and planning ideas at the Kennedy Space Center Destination Tips. After visiting the space center, on the space coast many people don't really checkout the Merritt Island National Park. Merritt Island has some of the best real estate around the space coast.
