| It is great fun to play in the waves and the surf. It is not only fun, you will get a great workout. |
This is a beautiful ¾ acre beach park, located on a long stretch of Oceanside beach, making it great for long walks or jogging. It is mainly used by locals and tourists staying close by, thereby is quiet and relatively private. You have access to the beach cabanas, picnic tables, basketball court, and a nice children's playground. As with all the beaches in the area, the water, waves, and surf conditions are outstanding.
City of New Smyrna Beach
An area known for beautiful sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean and its nearly 13 miles of white sandy beaches is New Smyrna Beach. The City is classified as a small community, with a hometown charm in its Canal Street Downtown and Beachside Districts. It is a fun and vibrate area with great beaches, parks, shopping, and waterfront dining. Located beside the Atlantic Ocean and the Intercoastal Waterway, New Smyrna Beach offers excellent backwater and offshore fishing, plus all the other water sports you would expect from this waterfront community.
Historic Canal Street
Just a few miles to the north is downtown New Smyrna Beach, where you find a neat little historic district with unique old town charm. You will love the pleasant shopping area, and it is easy strolling while checking out each storefront. Expect smaller crowds and easy-in easy-out access to shops and unique boutiques.
Just Around the Corner
Lighthouse Point Park
To the north is a terrific fun-to-see-and-do, the 50+ acre Lighthouse Point County Park & Preserve, along with the marina, boat ramp, restaurants, and the historic museum. You can tour the lighthouse, enjoy beach and fishing activities, take a walk along the coastline, walk out onto the long jetty, swim in the ocean, or surf in the waves.
