Disney's Pop Century Resort
Located in the fabulous Walt Disney World Resort, Pop Century is a fun-filled Disney hotel with an emphasis on American culture and music of the twentieth century. Each cultural decade, from the 50's through the 90's, is represented in different quadrants of this hotel. Relax by the 50's pool, where Elvis music plays as you lounge in the sun. Or enjoy the extra-large 60s pool, with it's groovy sounds, and pool-side ping pong court. The kids will enjoy the indoor arcade, and there are various places to eat throughout the property, making it ideal for families on the go. This hotel is reasonably priced, and is located in the southern part of the WDW Resort, near I-4, and Disney's Wide World of Sports.

Room Size
I noticed on the Disney information pages that some people thought the room sizes at Pop Century were a bit too small. Our family had no problem at all with the hotel or the room sizes. With the amount of time you spend in the room being so limited, it makes it no issue at all. The hotel has a nice itinerary of activities, and free bus service over to the Magic Kingdom and the rest of the theme parks, plus to shopping and dining at International Drive.

Our Favorite Disney Hotels
We like Pop Century, they have so much to see and do, but there are other good hotels to choose from. There is a big difference between the various Disney Hotels. One of the good ones is the Port Orleans Riverside, with its New Orleans themed fun.
Pop Century Trip Report
My husband and two children stayed here and we wanted to help the Fun-Florida-Getaways community with a trip report. So here is the news and notes as we saw it. Pop Century is a fun-filled Disney hotel with an emphasis on American culture and music of the twentieth century. Each cultural decade, from the 50's through the 90's, is represented in different quadrants of this resort. Located on Disney property, about three miles from Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Typhoon Lagoon. The hotel is about seven miles to Downtown Disney, Animal Kingdom, and Magic Kingdom theme parks. Pop Century is a family value resort, there is plenty to delight every member of the family clan at this lively resort. We like it a lot and had a super time.
