Boat Rentals
It was very fun and interesting to rent a boat there at a city island park and tour the area. We did a four hour rental, which seemed like the best money spent for anything ever. We went around Lido Key, Ken Thompson Park, North Lido Beach, and even cruised over to Longboat Key. The boat rentals are cheap and really fun.

Sarasota Kayaking
One of our best local kayaking trips is there at the park, where we can go for a few hours and then end up right there at the tiki bar.

Sarasota Bay
What wonderful fun and nature is available to the boaters and kayakers enjoying Sarasota Bay. We made a weekend getaway of it and stayed at the Longboat Key Hilton Resort. We took the boat and checked out the coastline and the many boater friendly restaurants. It is a fishing and boating playground.
