St. Pete Beach Vacations
As the summer days grow longer and the warmth of the season causes me to slow down a little, it seems the best time to start breaking out the frozen cocktails! So, we had a big get together at the TradeWinds Island Resort. This is a great spot for locals to get an gulfside room with a waterfront view, or for out of town families taking a weekend vacation. A nice hotel, filled with activities.

Fourth of July Fireworks
One of the mortars exploded during St. Pete Beach's Fourth of July Fireworks this year. The debris from the error actually blew out windows at the Bon-Aire Motel. No injuries, and the rest of the fireworks went great. The St. Pete Beach Fourth of July Fireworks are super part of our florida beach vacation. Remember to plan ahead for parking during the event.
Hotel Discounts
We just love St. Pete Beach, as the area has the most discount hotel on any coast in Florida. Under $50 per night is easy to find in the summer, and we pile in our car, the kids jump in, and we are off to enjoy the water, fishing, and boating around St. Pete Beach. One of our favorites, the Sirata Beach Resort.

St. Pete Beach Things to Do
A fun place to watch a movie with a little zest is the Beach Theatre, serving beer and wine. The Beach Theatre is right there at 315 Corey Avenue.
