After a hearty meal, you'll be ready for a nice walk down Dodecanese Blvd. Take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the sights and sounds of Greek culture in the town known as the "Sponge Capital of the World". For those of you who enjoy biking, the side streets of Tarpon Springs offer the chance to view cobblestone streets, stately homes, and an antique district only a few blocks away from Dodecanese Blvd.
Expect to enjoy walking along Dodecanese Blvd. However, biking is limited on this street due to automobile traffic and tourists making their way down the street. Biking is much better along the side streets of Tarpon Springs, or for those of you who want to embark on a long bike ride, the Pinellas Trail is only a block away from the start of Dodecanese Blvd. This trail extends all the way through Pinellas County, down to St. Petersburg.
