Hotel Discounts
We were very impressed with the hotel discounts offered around the island. The hotel business has become so competitive that more of the room rates are going lower, especially during the summer and during the work week. We booked two rooms for our family at the Thunderbird, one room for my wife and I, plus another room for the children. Room rates under $50 per night, you just can't beat a cheap weekend getaway like this. We considered the Sirata Beach Resort after watch their TV advertisements, but ended up in Treasure Island. The Thunderbird was very nice, and such a hotel discount bargain.
