Typhoon Lagoon's Rides and Slides

There once was a giant swift moving storm, and when it ended, Typhoon Lagoon was born. This is the place to ride waves, careen down slides, swoosh around turns, and enjoy swift glides. There is so much to do and enjoy here. It is an aquatic paradise with white sand beaches, lazy rivers, children's play areas, and much, much more. Be sure to make plans to visit Typhoon Lagoon today. It is a fantastic sun-drenched, water-soaked getaway.

Mayday Falls

Mayday Falls

On this ride, you sit in an oblong inner tube and slide down steep winding hills, over bumps, around turns, and through a waterfall before finally landing in a crisp cool pool. This is a ride you will want to do again and again. Ah yes, the fun never ends.

Keelhaul Falls

You glide downstream on gentle rolling hills, and then suddenly you encounter some surprises, such as bumps and bounces and twists and turns. Finally, you speed into the pool below and end with a splash. This is a great ride. You will want to go on it many times.

Shark Reef

Shark Reef

This attraction begins with a lesson on how to wear snorkel gear. You then enter the water and swim in a fabulous tropical oasis, filled with fish of many kinds, and even sharks too. Don't worry; they stay far underneath the water. After your aquatic encounter, be sure to visit the sunken tanker located next to the swim area. You will see even more fish from here, and the special effects inside the tanker are great.

Surf Pool

Surf Pool

In the middle of the park, there is a giant wave pool where you can relax, cool off, and experience the thrill and excitement of gigantic 6 ft waves that come roaring into the shoreline. Catch a wave and be on your way to a great splashy, fun-filled day.

Castaway Creek

Grab an inner tube and float downstream on the crisp, cool waters of this lazy river. You will thoroughly enjoy the leisurely experience of floating through lush tropical settings as surf music plays gently in the background. This is paradise found.

Humunga Kowabunga

Ok, kids, this one is for you. This is a fast and furious high-flying ride. Cross your arms and feet, lie on your back, and plunge straight down to the depths of the water below. You will travel at speeds of 30 mph in a dark enclosed tube, straight down to the end, and it is all thrills the whole way. Once you emerge from the tube, that's when the giant splash begins. All you see is whitewater everywhere as you finally come to a stop at the end. Whoo-Hooo. Let's go again! Height Requirement - 48 inches.

Storm Slides

Storm Slides

Swoosh along the winding paths of these high-speed body slides as you propel downward through caves and waterfalls, twisting and turning around bumps and bends to a giant pool full of water below. It's a 36-foot drop from top to bottom, and the final plunge is a furious one, but it sure is a lot of fun.

This is a mini version of the water park, made especially for the little ones. There are waterfalls, squirting animals, water fountains, an inner tube slide, and a giant ship to climb on, with water guns to shoot. The kids will love this little water playground. It's a lot of fun for everyone.

Crush'n' Gusher

This is more than a ride. This is a water coaster! The anticipation builds as you head up the stairway with your two or three-person float. Once you reach the top, you will see the thrill that awaits you. The ride begins with a push from a conveyor belt, and then you are off. It's a steep incline down, only to be plunged upward again! The ride continues with twists and turns, ups and downs, plunging through caves and waterways until you finally reach the pool below. This fast-moving, action-packed flume will take your breath away, make you laugh and scream, and give you a thrill like you've never seen. Height Requirement - 48 inches.

This Walt Disney Water Park was built on the tale of a mighty Florida Storm, which left this ship stranded high on the mountain by a giant wave. You will hear the horns of the old ship blow every half hour.

It's Humunga Kowabunga Thrill Ride, where you plummet nearly straight down Mount Mayday in one of three side-by-side water pipes. This is one of the Walt Disney's faster water rides.
