An Island City
The city of Venice is situated on the Gulf coast between the larger cities Sarasota and Fort Myers. It is a quaint little beach town situated on an island formed between the intra-coastal waterway and the mainland. Venice has some of the best beaches in SW Florida, from Manasota Cay in the south to Nokomis Beach in the north.
