	There is a very nice concession stand at this beach, with hamburgers, hot dogs, and soft drinks available. There are also restrooms close by.
	Kids try their hand at surfing along the Gulf of Mexico on a warm, sunny day. Venice Municipal Beach is a favorite of many since it is wide, has great sand, and gentle surf.
	Sit back, stick your toes in the sand, take in the sights, and savor the sun. The sand has gotten a makeover, as the city has been involved in beach renourishment projects in the recent past, whereby thousands of cubic yards of sand were returned to the shoreline.
	Its fun, fun, fun, as kids play along the beach and run with the gentle surf.
	What a way to spend a Sunday. People really know how to relax here at Venice Beach.
	There's nothing better than reading a good book and soaking up some rays.
	This beach is very expansive. There's room enough for all to spread out the blankets, or put down the beach chairs.
	If you don't want too much sun, an umbrella will do just fine.
	Exercise abounds along Venice Beach, as these happy beach-goers take a leisurely bike ride.

Beach Water Temperatures

I really enjoy the gulf water temperatures, as from late April to October the warm into the 80s. Us Floridians really like the warm waters, when you can jump right in and not freeze at all. It just makes the water sports activities like boating and swimming much more enjoyable.

Beach Vacations

Each morning brings a visit to the beach and the opportunity to see the pelicans fly over the water. Children play in the surf, my family close by. These are the times to treasure our lovely public beach.

Venice Beach Hotels

We stayed at the Inn at the Beach Resort, and had a nice florida vacation. We even got hotel discounts as we were vacationing in the summer, which is the off season in Florida. The area has plenty of Hotels to choose, many that sit gulf side.
